Destin History & Fishing Museum - The Destin History & Fishing Museum has exhibits of fish caught in Destin, a large collection of antique fishing rods and reels, the oldest seine fishing boat still in existence, photographs of early Destin boat captains. Destin is known as the Luckiest Fishing Village in the World.

Gator Beach - This is one of the best attractions in Destin and it is free. Kids love it and at Gator Beach you can learn about alligators and snakes and see the rare alligator, “Mellow Yellow.” You can even feed the alligators. Kids can have a picture taken holding an alligator at Gator Beach in Destin.
